I've seen others doing them to make things like a Luke ROTJ stunt, V2's, etc...
I have never wanted a mini before, but this gets my juices flowing!

.45 LED sabers anyone?
I wonder if we could find polycarbonate tubing that small. Maybe acrylic?
The possibilities are interesting. I bet a 3000mcd LED would light up a .45 scale blade nicely.
Way cool. Having several of those converted could make for a very interesting display piece.
I was thinking a hybrid cut-away. The great part about being small is that it would be easier. Less parts needed and the fudge factor would be higher on exactness and general connections.
On a full size saber glue wouldn't cut it, but a dab of superglue and that'll hold half of your stuff.

I never even thought of that Xwing, I've got a dozen or so of those lying around. Could make for a fun weekend project!
I have one of those singing cards. I got a Star Wars one I'm going to gut and stick in the stand.
I've been stocking broken electronics for a bit now. Another project to the list unfortunately.

They make polycarb tubing as small as 3/8". I used 5/8" for my EL lightdagger.Originally Posted by Jonitus
