Default Borked PLI now bargraph, recommend me some patterns!

I just borked a PLI... Tip: don't reverse the power wires.

This is also one of the few "recommend me" threads. :P I pulled off the chip and it's essentially a bargraph now. A little testing and it's resistored and I can light 9 of the 10 LEDs.

I want ideas for neat patterns I can do if I wired it with Erv's board.

    Here's what it has:
    IIIIIIIIII

Six Greens, Amber, and two Reds. The last is dead, I presume in the initial borking of the PLI.

    Here's what they could be:
-Blinking set of 4 in any pattern
-Idle LED which can be any of the above four (short to always on is possible)
-Low battery (blinking tied to "current terror" setting)
    -Progressive On LED (mirrors Luxeon)

low battery sound better and less annoying than the rest.

Well, ideally I want to use all or most of them.

Like the blinking pattern of four the bottom ones, in a "chase" pattern. Then the next green up the low battery and all the rest set as mirrors of the Lux.

How about this, from left to right:

    Idle/Progressive/Progressive/Progressive/Blinking 1/Blinking2/Blinking3/Blinking 4/Low Batt

    or this:

    Progressive/Blinking1/Blinking2/Blinking3/Blinking4/Progressive/Idle/Lowbatt/??

Maybe for the last one you could wire it so that light turns on when the saber is charging, if this is going in one with rechargeable batteries.

Ooo... thanks! I forgot that I could do that. I always like to go rechargeable and I have all the parts for a recharge light.
