    Default Lux lll red orange

Hey I am thinking about putting a red orange lux lll in my maul conversion because the k2 with the filters isnt cutting it.its only as bright as a lu lll of course but I want to be a sith again so I wanted to know if it will be fully powered in the maul. Will it get enough current? And will it get the full 190 lumens or at least really close?

I'm pretty sure it will but I just wanted to check. Thanks for the help.

Are you not going to use it if it doesn't?

It's most definately not going to get exactly what it wants, but it will still be bright. If you really want filters swap in a Seoul, Cree or Rebel and you'll get a boost over the K2. If you want a red-orange put that in and stop worrying. It's not going to get any brighter if you really want a Red-Orange...

I was just curious if the brightness was all.So the seoul would be brighter than a fully powered k2 or just a k2 in the maul like I have, which is only as or a little brighter than the lux lll.

K2 is on the right, Seoul on the left. There is literally no difference in the wiring. The Seoul is just more efficient with less.

Now that's with the filter dumming the difference down. The plain white is a GREAT difference.

    I ordered this:
    http://www.led-tech.de/de/High-Power-LEDs/-3.5W-Seoul-Star-LEDs/Seoul-3.5W-Star-LED-(P4-Version,-Sel.-U)-LT-980_55_78.html

I was getting a bunch of stuff from though, so with them being in germany it may not be the best for you. Give google a search.

kaidomain.com and dealextreme.com should have some.

A P4 with a red filter isnt as bright as a normal luxIII red led. By quite a noticeable difference. So if you want red/orange the best to go for is still the luxeon really for normal sabre use.
