    Thanks for the compliments guys.
    The button I ended up using is an anodized computer case thumbscrew that I cut the top off and drilled a hole in the underside.
    Kinda like these:


    The rubber bushing is half of a 5/8" grommet, hollowed out inside by my dremmel.


    As for dimensions Nova... I made it to these specifications (which I found at sitharchives.com)

    Cool, thanks! I didn't even know spec sheets like that existed, or were easily "findable" by folks.

    Excellent work!

    So, overall it is about 1.5" diameter, and in some cases like 1.3 or 1.4"... very sleek!
