You've got me sold on the Tannery stuff. Exactly which type of the product do you use? I've found Tannery Vintage Leather Cleaner and Conditioner and Tannery All-in-One Cleaner and Conditioner. Both are in aerosol form but I think there was a liquid and/or cream version. Which do you recommend?

I used the "all-in-one"

Spray it on in slight excess, let it set for about 10 mins, then wipe off, and buff out.

Ace Hardware has the All-in-One stuff, so does ebay. Amazon and a few other places have the Vintage stuff. I read the descriptions and it seems the Vintage stuff is more specifically for leather while the All-in-One kinda treats everything leatherish, such as vinyl and pleather. Either one should be fine though. I've been using Meguiar's Classic Gold Leather Conditioner. Not bad I guess but the Tannery stuff sounds better. Thanks for the info!

I'm glad I didn't take my suit to the dry cleaners. I would have had a heart attack after reading the info I poster earlier.

Get the vintage then, vintage maybe the term for their old formula, which at the time I used it, there was only one type.
So go with that, and I promise you'll love the results.
I'll have to find it online, as no place around me stocks it, and I have looked extesively, I thought it wasn't around anymore, but I'm thrilled to hear they are.

guess i need to look up that stuff too. we have a ace nearby, i can look there. and labor day week i get alot of time off, it appears, so i will get to the jbl newton combo tryout on the V2 and see how i like it. the newton has a lil bit better quality to the sound than my aws units, so it might work out nicer this time round.

got my LA cape and robe last week, tried it on the FG armor. looks pretty good. he used a different type clip than a lobster claw on mine, much easier to mess with. i found that where the mounts are on my armor, that the cape hooks up and sits better if i connect it to the clips he had setup for the chain, the cape will slide back over the clip and partially hide the mount as well, so it ends up looking a lil more like it should look.

the big even in a couple days, and i will have the wife take pics so i will have some to post, with the new cape and robe set.

I knew you'd be happy with it, that's why I sold the Rubies, and got a 2nd suit cape & robe from him, because I liked it that much, and I have a backup for those -just in case- incidents.

yeah, maybe someday later on, i might go for a 2nd set, but my next objective, and last for a while, is a custom pair of boots. prolly the motorcowboy leather ones, with zippers just like the costume pair i use now.

400 bucks tho, is a lil pricey, so i will have to save back a lil to afford a pair.
