Well, I dont think Il be painting the primer today. After the epoxy had dryed I had sanded it down using my dremel. BIG mistake . I had to redo most of the epoxy so I have to wait till it dries again. I aslo added some more to make the face more symetrical.

    Heres some pics

Ti looks like you are off to a good start, you might want to square up the bottom of the mouth vents with a file. I never did understand why rubies thought they should be round.

    good point do-clo.

surface sanding on there should be done by hand not a dremel, as you discovered(lil chuckle).

dremel works good for taking out the ridges around the eye sockets.

wait till the lens comes in before you go sanding or cutting too much out around there, as you need the lens to test fit in place as you go.

its much easier to take out a lil bit at a time, then to take out a bunch only to find out, you have to add bondo or pc-7 to fill in where you took too much plastic off.

like do-clo stated, it looks like your well on your way to gettin it fixed up, nice job so far.

I do not know if I can post this in here, if not sorry and a mod can delete it. Any way here it goes my self and my girl friend have run into some car probs. We both have 2002 ford cars and they are falling apart. mine have been in 4 times for the same prob and hers is now on the 3rd time for the same thing. With her in Vet school and not being able to work as much the bills get to fall on me. I am finding my self haveing to part with some of my vader costume

Since I have TK armor I can still do my troops But as Vader no more I have a Portumac ROTS mask and Portumac ROTS Armor That I need to part with. I am keeping my Cape/Robe and Body suit with the hopes of one day Being Vader again. The Mask and Armor are in great shape.

The mask is a portumac ROTS. It has had a few nicks on the lower neck of the paint, any ROTS Vader will no that this happens do to the long neck being made to go under the armor. This nicks have been touched up and are also not seen at all when you are in costume. They are hidden by the armor.

The Armor also had the same happen to it. The armor nicks are on the INSIDE of the neck and can NOT be seen in or out of costume since they are on the lower inside neck line. They have also be touched up with Gloss black paint.

Here are some pics of the F.Glass armor and Mask.
Please PM me if you have an offer.

well thanks to seduced over on the the force net, supplying 2 shots of lucas A's rots gloves, and a shot of hayden wearing the gloves. all 3 showin the stitch patterns on the gauntlets, i sent these 3 pics on over to sith armor.
    lucas gloves:

screen used as hayden wearing them:

the rots gloves i got from SA arent even close to being the right stitch patterns. so i sent the pics to him, and he replied back he was sending those pics straight away to the shop and he is is making a mad dash to redo new ones using the pics as reference for the patterns. apparently he didnt know the pattern.

he told me also that anyone who already got the ones he has now, myself included, will get a discount on the new ones. i think he said 15 bucks for the new ones.

he also said he was discounting all the ones he has left to get rid of them, to aid in the money used to make the new ones. he thanked me for supplying the pics.

so i hope when theyre done he will shoot me a pic so i can see if he got it close to correct, then start production runs. i will get the right pattern ones for 15 bucks no problemo.

anyone else who got the rots ones needs to contact him after he gets back to me later

Way to go LAN Ya know I've seen that shot and never thought to look at the stitch pattern that close ; I always gave the gloves a broader look and was more focused on the head , Shoulders, chest , and Shins being I am an Imperial Refinisher. LOL I guess the STT will be the last to know

I think I saw it on the Dressing of a Galaxy DVD. I am going to pull it out and look over the whole thing on frame by now. You got me curious about a couple othe things
