    Default Question about the best "Fan Films" from Star Wars

    I have a specific question about Star Wars fan films.

    I am wondering what maybe the best Top 20 Fan Films of Star Wars there are - but I am talking about ones with Lightsaber battles. I dont care about comedies and parodies and cartoons.

    I am talking live action, shot with human beings, actual fan films - with Lightsaber duels.

    I searched around on You Tube and it was mostly CRAP.

    So, can everyone chip in and help suggest links and such so I can go watch the best of the best of the Fan Films with Lightsaber fighting in them please.

    Obi Wan Kenobi single handedly defeated in combat:

    ~ Darth Maul, Sith Lord
    ~ General Grevious, trained by a Sith Lord and weilded 4 (yes FOUR!!!!) Lightsabers at once!
    ~ Darth Vader, The Sith Lord

    and you want to argue that Obi Wan is NOT the best Jedi EVER with a Lightsaber!!??!??

    Whats BOP 1-2??? I have seen Ryan VS Dorkman. Those were pretty cool. I dont know what BOP is.

    balance of power, its a live play done by our very own novastar. they use luxeon sabers, its a very good live play you can find the vid on youtube

    cold is good, What did you type in the search bar?

    Ive had good luck with star wars fan films in teh search and then just take a guess on which one looks good. usually the ones about the 8-10 min range are good but I have seen some that are like 4 to 5 min long that have been good also.

    Patience for the jedi you need.

    Thanks for the links. I watched them all last night and today. Some had great parts...... I dont want to critisize someone elses hard work. I just haven't seen what I have in my mind yet.

    I started working on a short screen play - something that would be about 7 to 15 minutes of actual footage for a Star Wars fan film. Just a simple story that leads into some action. Almost like a snapshot of one characters life. Just happens to be an action snapshot! LOL

    What I see in my mind is what we should have seen in the Star Wars movies when it came to Lightsaber duels. Keep in mind that I am NOT critisizing others work. I just never saw the potential fully realized. Kind of like Rush Hour 3. BWWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (Get it??)

    Anyway.... Ill let everyone know when I create a myspace page for the Fan Film. At this rate, it will take two full years to complete.

    "death star repair men"

    just to name a few.

    Hi all... thanks for including the Balance of Power performances in here with some of the other "greats".

    I don't really consider my BOP projects in the class of films since they are totally live, and are supposed to have no "cuts", do not use carbon fiber blades + rotoscoping and such... but glad to know some folks from TCSS are including it!
