Lightsaber Crystal Color Meanings

Personaly I like silver and viridian. Blue is good to have in a saber. If I had to pick a favorite color for my most used saber of all the kotor colors it would be silver. For my 2nd saber or droid saber on the game viridian. In real life I would use a silver and a viridian in my double blades. For those of you that are wondering I still dual wield double blades. Progress is progressing slow on my skills with them but none the less progressing. I'm gonna start a topic on it soon to post katas and different attacks and suggestions on how to master dual wielding double blades. Back to the crystals. This is the equation I use.

Blue:fighter
Green:force user/adept
Yellow:force and fighter blanced out
Red:Sith or powerful saber
Orange:highly skilled fighter
silver:most used saber
viridian:droid saber
white:no agenda
cyan:fights very little or has little agenda
bronze:saber user seen a great deal of combat

For those of you who aren't sure how to get the bronze crystal, I got mine from mandalore when he gives you a lightsaber. Best way to get the saber you want is to save before you get one from any one. If you don't get it reload the game. Also to get a double blade 99% of the time lose the fight with revan in the tomb, you won't die but you will be weak and should get a double blade. Any way thats my theory on the crystal colors. If I don't use that theory I use personal preference or what I think looks best on the each character.

Royal Blue - Supreme Fighter when the situation requires, Consumate Jedi.

Here are the color meanings according to KOTOR 2:

Blue- Jedi Guardian: This Jedi battles against the forces of evil and the dark side. They focus on combat training and masterful use of the Lightsaber.
Green- Jedi Consular: This Jedi seeks to bring balance to the universe. They focus less on physical combat and more on mental disciplines in order to augment their mastery of the Force.
Amber - Jedi Sentinel: This Jedi ferrets out deceit and injustice, bringing it to light. They strike a balance between the physical and mental disciplines of the Jedi Order.
Orange - Honor.
Purple - Balance.
White- Purity. Typically carried by very light-oriented Jedi. *Red - Power. Sith and Dark Jedi.

I have a Jedi Guardian Character who has wields a Red Lightsaber, I have a Guardian who uses a green & cyan sabers as well. Your lightsaber color shouldn't determine what class you are. Each Jedi's Lightsaber should be unique depending on how THEY like it.

There is one thing I would like to address though. What kinda racist Klan members are LucasArts (and George Lucas) if they have white lightsabers (I know they call them silver but they look white) and they don't have any black lightsabers? They have Green Lightsabers for Martians and Oscar the Grouch, they have blue lightsabers for the guy from big fat liar, they even had Darth Maul who was actually red and had a red lightsaber. XP

Not everything will look like it's supposed to after editing and everything is done. They have to use computers to do the editing most of the time. Still there are no black sabers in the movies or any game that I know of. However there is something menchined in expanded universe where a certain group uses black sabers. Never seen one but don't think it would look right. Still the reason you don't see them is because that's the way GL wrote it. There's nothing racist about it so don't go starting something about nothing, no offense there.

Black is not a wavelength of light, anyway.

If you tried to use a black "filter" on a white LED, you'd get nothing coming out, it would effectively filter out all the wavelengths that are in white light.

Where are these white/silver sabers that people keep talking about? I've seen people on the forum with white sabers, but I've never seen any in any games or anything. Wiki claims that KOTOR added silver but I never saw one in either of the games. Have I missed something? I would love to see a picture of a EU Silver saber from a game or something, but my google-fu is failing me.

the white blade is in KOTOR II i cant rember how you get it but some one will ask you about your old saber and at one point you will discribe the blade... you will pick the description ...

my blade was silver like the the room of a thousand fountans


or something like that i still have the game but it wont play in my xbox 360
