help with windu grip

i was wondering how i could do the mace windu style grips. i dont like the vader grips because they are horrible unconfortable for dueling, but i wonder how the windu grips feel.... anyone know how to make them or if they are even worth making?

other than tearing them out of an mr mace, not sure where anything like them would be

The MR mace is not a good feel for fighting. It's too big around. The grips would be hard to do on a smaller diameter saber, but perhaps something creative with Tims new MHS peices?
