    Default Sound kill switch

    If I was going to put a small slide switch on a speaker wire would I want to put it on the positive or negative, or does it matter?

    it doesn't matter. either way it would stop the flow of electricity.

    Yeah, that's what I figured, just didn't want to do anything blindingly stupid like fry my only remaining board by using the wrong wire.

    And yes, agreed it doesn't matter. Speaker wires (in our situation) do not matter on polarity.

    It would if you were going stereo.

    Now that would be nuts... a 7.1 speaker setup for a saber. hehehe
