Thread: Yoda conversion?

    Wow, only about 8" long? That IS a tough conversion.

    Could the shroud be used for an additional blade retention screw? I mean as far up as it could go, plus another screw near the bottom of the blade where it met the heatsink/emitter/holder?

    I've used two blade screws to secure many sabers from BOP I--for added safety... maybe it could work.

    Thoughts, Strydur & X?

    The last time I seen someone do a review on the yoda they said the shroud is very weak and bends easly.

    I would be down with a 3/4 conversion. Is it possible to get a complete blade thats 3/4 instead of 1?

    I thought about doing something similar. If nobody minds having the emitter stick out farther than stock then I would be open to doing a kit similar to this.

    I think It looks fine the way it is. And when i get my Yoda Im going to go thru and show how to open it up without wrecking the sensor. CAnt wait for my Yoda, cant wait for my Yoda.....
