Question about prebuilt cores

I am looking at refitting my five year old MHS1 hilt with a prebuilt core. I see on the core pages that they aren't compatible with MTN parts. I have one in my hilt and rely on it for my fighting style. What is the nature of the incompatibility? Can't I just rewire the core for longer connections or put a dummy spacer piece in the mtn section?

yes, it is because of the pixel connector. You can simply rewire the connector after it is through the MTN parts.
