Default Question on the Luxeon Rebel

Hello all, I'm new here and as my first post I'd like to ask a question.

Is it possible to mount the luxeon rebel to a luxeon K2 star, as seen in the photo link below, or is that simply for a size comparison?

    Thanks for all the help!

pretty sure that picture is for a size comparison, but dont let that hold you back, find a way to make it work, we are all about customization here

Ixius... you would need to isolate the + & - leads of the cathode/anode for the LED, so mounting it directly onto a solder pool of a blank (or non-blank!) PCB star... wouldn't work.

I don't have any idea how saber designers are going to be able to isolate the leads easily--that is without a magnifying glass!

My hopes (and guesses) is that these will come out on their own PCB "plates"/stars... and/or get bundled together as a bunch...
