Neo pixel blade flicker for a second on ignition

Just finish first crystal focus neopixel install. eveything works fine except when i ignite the blade it flickers for a second, once the blade is fully lit it is does not flicker. can't figure out why. is it a setting? thoughts

what gauge wire did you use from soundboard to hilt adapter? What gauge in blade? Which battery? Fully charged? Seems electrical, not settings.
