You're welcome and thanks. I'm glad I was able to help.

    That looks really good.

Thanks, I am so nervous about cutting into the actual emitter piece... But it will be worth it.

Sorry it took so long... Life got in the way, then I misplaced the vinyl stickers... Here is the etched emitter, Before and after... I am pleased with the results. I also have a picture with the shroud and possible hilt design...

    Hey Jon

    Life got in the way
Oh buddy I hear you; I'm still trying to get my entry for the contest finished but life got crazy & I'm not sure if it will be done...

Good to see the final result. It looks like a nice clean etch! Kudos on all the work you put into it as it certainly paid off.

Thank you for the compliment! Now I have to decide what comes below the shroud I hope you can finish yours before the deadline... "Do or Do Not. There is no try." Yoda.

Nice work. You should always push yourself in this hobby. If you haven't wasted a part in pursuit of making something new and exciting, you aren't trying hard enough. If you are just screwing together parts, you aren't learning anything.

Thank you ARKM, I was more nervous etching this part than I was when I was cutting it. This came out as good as it did thanks to you and the others here on this forum that have passed on their knowledge and expertise. Thank you!
