    Default Frankenvader

This is a hilt i pieced together from a bunch of scraps. Some MHS, some custom, some MPP. The copper piece was originally brass but I thought copper would look nice so I plated that. Then I thought it would look good with a red bubble strip soooo I made one

Still designing a chassis for it but it might be a while til it's finished. Thought I'd share anyway because it looks pretty cool.

It's weird but somehow they all ended up working together. Complete luck and unplanned.

Great work, DC! The only thing I would change is the silver-colored emitter sticking up quite as much past the black shroud. Other than that, love the look of all the pieces.

That is a beautiful saber! I wish all my Franken sabers were that great. Again just beautiful!

Yeah I kind of felt the same but its a scrap build and thats the way the parts fit. Its a stepped emitter so moving up the shroud wouldn't really work without long, partially exposed screws to secure it and provide blade retention. In the spirit of "scrappiness" I opted to keep it as is.

Fair enough! It looks amazing either way. That copper shroud piece really steers it in the scrap direction in accordance with your theme. Did you dremel that piece?
