Noob with question re MHS and Graflex Clamp

Hi all

Planning to build a vader/anakin AOTC saber from the MHS system. Have seen a guy on ebay called the king of parts selling a replica graflex/heiland clamp and wanted to check that it would fit the MHS ok. seller states the clamp will fit a 1 1/2 inch tube.

Would apreciate all the help you can give as im trying to get together a few parts whilst i wait for some of the MHS parts to come into stock.

It will but the mhs is got an od of slightly smaller than 1.5" so a 1.5" tube like a sink drain will fit over the mhs. you you could take a bit 1.5" sink drain and make a spacer or do what some have done here. take some eletrical tape and built up the area so the clamp will fit over the mhs and then take a couple orings and stuff them in the opening. ncKfisto has done this for his luke. MP him to find out exactly how he did it.
