Thread: BLade LED's off while board is powered?

  1. #1

Default BLade LED's off while board is powered?

I think what I want to do will work, but I want to run it by some electronic gurus first.

Would there be any problem adding a double throw switch between the RGB Tri Cree and the board, and running the other side of the switch to another set of LED's for accents?

Basically I want the board powered, sound working, and be able to switch off the Blade LED's and turn on some accent LED's inside the hilt instead. It would be an either/or type set up. Only one set of LED's would be on at a time.

    What do you think?

There shouldn't be a problem doing it. Just make sure your switch is rated for the LEDs.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."
