Default nano biscotte v4 with rebel led and 4.5 volts

Would a rebel LED work with a nano biscotte v4 with a 2.7ohm 10 watt resistor work at a voltage of 4.5 volts? I have done research on this but havent been able to find anything useful, and cannot for the life of me figure out how many volts a 2.7ohm 10 watt resistor resists. Also would this setup function properly? i am using a 4 AAA battery pack, but insteadplanning to put 1 dummy AAA battery in there

    Welcome to the Forums.

you can calculate the proper resistor you need using this:

Once you get the right resistor, it should work, but it won’t last long, because AAA’s won’t be able to put out enough amperage to run a Rebel LED formany length of time. I would highly recommend you use a 3.7V Li-ion battery.
