Thread: Aequus Nox - My Golden Harvest test saber

Default Aequus Nox - My Golden Harvest test saber

I don't make shiny sabers very often, but a brand new board deserves a brand new shiny saber to live in.

I built this saber over about 3 days to house and test the Golden Harvest soundboard I received last week from Frederic Folz of Sabertec.

The saber holds a 3500mah Orbtronic 18650 battery
RGBW quad Cree LED wired for RGB w/ W FOC
    24mm Saber Essentials stealth speaker
    Custom made RGB crystal chamber
Gator embossed leather wrap from Defconbird
Heat stained chrome plated brass shrouds and inlay.
    Custom machined delrin chassis

Saber is 1.125" wide and exactly 12" long including pommel.

This will be my test saber to provide Frederic with feedback on his new board. It will also be on my hip for Trick or Treating this year. (I have a small D-ring coming)

    Thanks for looking and MTFBWY!

Looks good, how do you like that board? I was offered one to make and give him rights to a sound font for it. I just ended up in the hospital with heart problems and just didn’t have the time when he asked.

Sorry to hear about the health problems brother, hope you're on the mend.

My initial impression of the board is very positive. As with everything there's a slight learning curve, but it performs very well. I'll be doing a full video soon to go over my thoughts
