Thread: Resistor identifying help.

    Default Resistor identifying help.

I ordered three different types of resistor from the store, but they arrived unmarked and no matter what calculator I use I can't figure out which is which.

If someone could tell me what the color bands are for these it would be an immense help.

This is why a meter is your best friend. Among a thousand other uses.

Wait, if you mean a multimeter.... I'm a moron. Think in suffering from hunger stupidity.

Hhhhmmmm, I think I'm too. Simply starving right now, I just don't want to stop working on my lightsaber, so I forget to take a break and eat.

You know how it goes. Working for hours, take a lunch break for 15 minutes, continue working couple hours, eat dinner 15 minutes, continue work......

Well, at this point I hit the wall. Had dinner, which was the first time I ate all day. Now I'm crashing. Think the eagerness to get the last of my parts was feeding my energy. Now that I have the parts, I'm spent.

There are several “resistor color band calculator” sites online, if you don’t have a multimeter.

I’d link the one I use, but it is part of an electronics store.

Yeah, every band calculator I used I couldn't match up the bands. Was always missing a color. I have a multimeter, I was just not thinking.
