Default SPST Momentary tactile switch - Hole size

    Hey all,

So I need to drill a hole for a Tactile Switch.

Unfortunately, I am a complete moron when it comes to measurements and such. Especially the Imperial System. Even Google is not helping me

So the store says "This switch will fit a .205" hole".

What size drill bit would work for this, and if I wanted to have it recessed, as in the picture, what would I use for that?

Thanks. Sorry for being a dummy

Get a .205" drill bit. And a larger one to counter sink it.

A 13/64 drill bit (0.203) is probably going to be the closest drill bit for a .205 hole. In addition you would need a countersink drill or dremel bit for the recessed/countersunk hole.

    Wow!

Those must be the only bits, in this size, in existence. Lol

    Even Google cannot find any!

    I bought them immediately.

    Thank you guys.
