Thread: Kill Key

    Default Kill Key

    Question:

Is it safe to us a homemade kill key using a 2.1mm plug taken from old laptop charger? I clipped it and added a decorative cap so nothing is exposed.

    Thanks

It doesnt matter what material its made of, if its not solid, the circuits arent combined unless you connect the wires coming out. I find that a kill key is only needed when you are building a saber, after that, if you use it enough to have to charge it, just charge it. Otherwise, the deep sleep will be fine.

No prob. Im finding that a lot of this stuff is made to be way more complicated than needed and people just get stuck in a groove of doing things one way and never trying something different.
