    Default Switch Help

So, I ordered my MHS hilt with the hole for a 12mm recessed momentary switch because that was my original plan. I wanted an unlit switch, but since TCSS doesn't have them on their site, I went to Amazon to find a 12mm momentary. I found a 12mm switch that I thought would look awesome, and ordered it, failing to realize that the switch head was actually 17.6mm in diameter... I'd really like to use this switch instead of the typical AV switch, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on mounting it without it looking goofy. I thought about seeing if a 16mm switch bezel would cover the recessed hole and allow me to mount the switch, but I know in the switch hole selection tutorial video, the holes are pretty specific to the respective switch. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

One option is to get one of the TCSS 12mm switches, and then simply don't hook up the LED. It doesn't light up automatically.

If you wanted a switch that looks like these: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/16...-LED-C149.aspx but in 12mm, you'll have to search a bit online.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

I have found a 12mm unlit switch from another vendor, and I will use that if I can't find a way to mount this other switch, but I'm really wanting to use this one. It looks really cool, and I'd like to make it work. But thank you for your reply.
