    Here's an insanely cheap one that you probably throw away everyday.

    Take a lid from a 16.9 oz bottle (usually water), trim the threads out of it with a knife or razor blade and snap on.

    Cool idea! I don’t think I’d use one, but very inventive.

    Much more elegant than the blue painter’s tape I’ve been using!

    chair feet from a hardware store, either 1" or 7/8" diameter!

    Clear plastic disc glued in place.

    Greenie got it, just glue a bit of clear plastic to the end. The you can just glue a scrap of the gift wrap you probably used as a diffuser then trim it down.

    I typically do not glue my dust caps on my blades. (Got to take it off to use the blade!)

    I think the pictures are getting people thinking this if for a blade plug.

    It comes from reading books with pictures and no words Kidding aside, people tend to look at pics vs reading text it seems these days.
