As for Hyper... some of you guys know he never truly answered any of my questions while prototyping his system, and still haven't to that date. I know he makes good products, seen his stuff in-person and experienced his customer support... but I don't like his hyperblade... I think it is a personnal choice of "what is it that you want"... so far the buttered toast seams to fit my needs better. I feel Hyper aims the show business while other places aims end-user like me.

At least with our 'Flashlights' we can sit under the covers reading ghost stories without the worry of the blade pushing the sheets off!!!!! Try doing that with one of his!

I love my lux, his setup isjust a glorafyied MR setup. prolly uses the rejected led strips from everyones conversions.

But I dont like to follow fads so my sig stays the same.

Nope... not that it matters. He makes his own strips. 100+ LEDs and such...

In addition to what X said, I'd like to add that its made of 3 sections, connected together by jumperwires. I assume it was ment for 2 reasons

1- lower cost (3 similar parts)
2- more flexibility in duel (we all know polyC flexes)

I heard the original hyperblades had darker spots at those junction areas and some people were not all that happy, then it was corrected.

I asked him several questions while he was showcasing the development of these blades, one being about power consumption... which he still has to answer me... with hundreds of leds in a blade, plus the controller, plus sound board... I guess it sucks batteries a little bit. Ok, we're doing the same with tri-lux. I'll shut up now.
