Default NB v4 and accent led

Morning and Merry Christmas everybody. Project I am working on is using a single green main led with NB v4 sound board along with a 16 mm av green led momentary switch with dynaohm resister. Battery is a single Panasonic 3.7.

I have everything wired up and the av switch stays illuminated all the time. I thought/was hoping that it would only be on when I activated the switch. I am using the 3.3 volt pad on the NB. Is this how it works or do I have to wire in one of those momentary to latching converters? Could I just parallel the 16 mm led with my main led and for-go the 3.3 pad altogether?

The way you have it currently wired, the switch LED STAYS ON all the time.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before... you want blindingly bright, super loud, running 1138 blinkies off of the cheapest sound card you can find AND you want all of it to run on a battery the size of a dime, and run for a very, VERY long time. That one cracks me up every time..."

Tapping the Dynaohm resistor onto the main led won't work? To much draw on the battery?

Page 6 in the manual shows two ways to wire it up...the first being the 3.3v pad, the other to one of the nearby pads. Parallel with the blade will only work so long as the die you have wired with the power on led is active.
