Default NB mostly won't turn off

Again this annoying guy from Germany. 🙄

I have just completed my first saber with a NB4. and I'm really excited. except for a little problem. It can only be turned off sometimes. I usually hold the button, but it keeps going. Sometimes it helps to push a second or third time, but usually not.

    Do you have a tip?

That is the APOP "accidental power Off protection". Its meant to stop you from accidentally turning off the saber mid-battle.

You need to hold it down a bit longer to turn it off ,than on.

There is a time amount setting you can adjust as well.

Some people like it, others don't.

I know. But no Matter how long I hold the switch down, the saber won't turn off.

bad switch? Bad solder joint? Short in wire. Measure continuity over your switch wire while you depress and release the switch. If you get an unsteady reading or tone, I'd say you have a switch or wire issue.

    I've tested a few more:

Error occurs when Saber was in Deep Sleep mode. When I reboot the saber by Killswitch a few times, suddenly it works. And if once it has worked, it will continue to work. Until the next deep sleep. All the other features, such as MotG, Changing Banks, which require a long press of the button, work well.

So I do not really think it's because of the wiring or the switch. I'll still check again. Hello, Multimeter, old friend.

But first I try to deactivate APOP at all Banks, and see what's happen.

Update: if I set "offd" to a value below 10, there seems to be no problem anymore.

Except that sometimes I turn off the Saber at the "Swirl from inverted".

I tested the wiring completely, that's not the reason.

    Strange.
