Man I feel like a total idiot! I have figured out my problem and have corrected it. I re-checked the wiring and it was great, so I decided to check out TCSS and look at the cable. Then near the bottom there is a disclaimer stating that for windows 7,8 the cable should be recognized when plugged in, then it says for other operating systems you may need to download the drivers! The link took me to the place where I downloaded the drivers for Mac OS. I was mistaken when I thought that I had already done this. What I had actually done was download the drivers for the RICE interface app, NOT the drivers for the cord. I am humbled by this experience and I have learned a lot. Thank you to all who tried to help me. It was your suggestions that made me dig deeper into the issue. I would be lost without this forum and the wonderful people at TCSS and Plecterlabs. My second saber is now fully functional, and tunable. I look forward to building more soon.
