That stepped emitter under that shroud combined with the switchbox are incredible. That saber is pretty sick for sure. I know that was a lot of engineering work on that one, and machining. Incredible work. I cannot believe you are doing this in your own shop!

Why the reverse thread set screw in place of a regular?
Not left hand threads, just reverse in the way you use it. You drill and tap the inner piece to accept the screw. Then drill a smaller hole in the outer piece just big enough for the Allen wrench to fit. When you go lefty, loosey the pressure is applied to the outer piece. This avoids having the screw interfering with the fit.
This is really looking like my favorite saber by you thus far. Is this going to be a kill key or switch or just a greebie?
those brass nubs coming up through the hilt, are they connected somehow to the switchbox, or is that a separate piece altogether on the inside? Lots of machine work to get that reveal, accurate machine work. That looks incredible.
