    Cool DCLS-006le

Attempting my first self machined metal core. Here's some of the progress.

Hilt designed by me, machined by TCSS. I'll update as the core comes together.

Maybe someday I'll be able to aspire to think about having 1/100 of your skills/tools. That thing is sick! Absolutely stunning design, inside and out!

Tom, firstly you're too kind. Second, lets put it this way... EVERY time I make something I surprise myself and continuously question if I actually made it or not. The disbelief is the best feeling and what motivates me to try different things each time. So the only advice that I will give is surprise yourself. And keep having fun of course

Picked up a 4 jaw chuck to help hold my work and center better. Gotta say, I should have just started out with it. Love it!

Here is the beginnings of the bottom chamber platform. I have an idea that I think might work and look cool. I want to try to copper plate this piece then do the mill work to reveal the brass underneath. We shall see.
