Thread: Current sense resistors okay to use?

  1. #1

Default Current sense resistors okay to use?

I'm almost 100% sure these are okay to use on the CF8 PEX pads, but they sound a little different from your typical SMD resistor, almost like a dynaohm. I need (2) 1 ohm 2 Watt SMD resistors for blue and green on a RGB LED (eventually, starting with GGW for now till I can order/afford the RGB LED). Would one of you confirm my thinking that they should be fine?

here is the link to the resistors: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-3-LR...cAAOSwRMRYTsIa

    Thanks.

I went ahead and found regular ones; had to buy 100, but I got a good price at least. Still curious though if anyone wants to chime in. No worries if not

I have used current sense resistors for my builds without any issue. As long as they meet the requirements of your build i.e. power rating, size, resistance.
