    Default 2 Simple Builds

Here are a couple of simple MHS builds I did for my CEO's sons. Both sporting the NB4, RGrB leds, and bass speakers. Yes, a step away from the customs I do but it's nice not to have to route 1138 wires through 1/8" tubes

    Hi chasm,
If you don't mind me asking, what did you use for the brass activation buttons? And how did you attach them to the momentary switches? Thank you.

5/16 brass rod turned down on the lathe. The part that sticks out of the hilt is 0.2" OD and the step that prevents them from slipping out of the hilt is 0.25" OD. The hole in the hilt is 0.201". They are not attached to the switches at all, they just sit on top of them.

    Hope that helps!

I'm impressed by your ability to keep it simple.. every time I say "i'm just going to make this quick" it's 6 months later and not done.

It was hard not to do more, I wanted to. But I'm giving these to him at cost, so going further just meant money out of my pockets.

Keep in mind that alot of the complex stuff we do, we do either for ourselves or to show other people in our community, and move it forward.
A "simple" build to our eyes, is pure magic to those kids. It's giving them the same feelings we had and still have. The gee-whiz of imagination and possibilities.
Heck, your builds inspire me. Think of those faces when they turn them on for the first time.
So I applaud your simple sabers, for many reasons... they look great!
