Lots of stuff to think about, so thank you all for that.

Toying around with the builder and making various prototypes is oddly relaxing. But it does get me thinking about all the little things that go inside and where they can (or should be placed). More research on sound boards makes me think I can do what I want with the Petit Crouton or the Prizm, but it looks like they've discontinued the PC. Is that correct?

No, it’s just out of stock for now.

On the ribbed/groved pieces, how much more space would there be for internals if I mounted switches and the the like on top of a shroud? I know the ID doesn't change, but I would imagine that the part of the switch that extends into the main body would be elevated somewhat, even if its just like a 1/16th of an inch or so.

I've used an almost identical bom for a nb/3.7 bat build. It was.....snug. It may be possible to do a cf8/7.4 in that.... but you best be on the ball with space optimization.
