Hey guys,
I'd like to run a Tri-Rebel (Red-Orange on all three) on 7.4v with a 1000mA buckpuck for a stunt saber and wanted to make sure I got everything right. Please correct me if I've missed something:
* I've been reading as much as I can on serial vs. parallel, and parallel seems to be the only thing that will work given the combined voltage required for serial for three LED's.
* I've heard other recommendations that max brightness might be better achieved by wiring a resistor to each individual die instead of using a buckpuck. Thoughts?
* The page from LEDSupply.com says max drive current is 1000mA, but under the "Absolute Max Ratings" DC Forward Current (mA) it says 700 for my LED's (Red-Orange). Am I confusing something?
Please see attached. Thanks!
