I just wanted to make sure I have my train of thought on the tracks and going in the right direction..

I am starting a new project soon, and I am going to be using a Blaster Core sound board. I also need to power 12 blue LED's.(6 for each side of the prop) I think I have to hook them up in Parallel with the board, This is what I am thinking. I am using a standard 7.3 V pack from TCSS. There shouldn't be any problems directly powering the LEDs from a battery if I have the proper resistors in place correct? I used a resistance calculator I found online.
with my 7.3 volt pack and my LEDs, 3.5v max forward voltage and 30mA Max it said I should use a 1/4W 150 Ohms resistor per LED. This way when I flip the power button the sound board turns on and the LED's also turn on...

Am I correct?
