Thread: Identify a LED?

    Default Identify a LED?

Hey folks, I've been working on a lot of side projects, when I decided I'd reuse a LED module from an old saber I had tossed in a drawer. I had originally assumed it was a two color die, but after i disassembled it, turns out its some unlabeled RGB.
Does anyone recognize it, since I'm quite sure THAT company I bought it from years ago won't give me a straight answer.

That looks like a dealxtreme or prolight 3 watt rgb. I still have a few of those myself. If memory serves, they are labeled backwards on the board and have a common positive, rather than a common negative.

Thanks. Looks like bog standard forward voltages, so I can just resistor the red, and use the NBv3 I'm upgrading to use this in a cheap saber for the boy.
