How do I fit the aux switch into the 1 inch blade holder for the Graflex 2.0?

For the silver oval shaped tab that holds the small silver button, I'm having trouble fitting it into the hilt. The button fits into the tab very tightly, and this tab dosen't reallly go into the blade holder for the 2.0 easily. I've looked all over the internet and I've seen the Lets build a Graflex series, he uses a 7/8 inch holder.

It's a very tight fit. I I found it easiest to center the switch in the hole, and then put the cover over it and press down. A firm press with your thumb over the entire tab cover should do it.
