Thread: What's up with Enhanced blades?

Default What's up with Enhanced blades?

From what I think I know about them, they contain a fluorescent material that is excited in certain wavelengths of light, making them fluoresce at maybe the same or even other wavelengths? The "photon" green blades were the first I heard of, but in the shop there are several colors of enhanced blades. Are they essentially the same thing only in different colors?

If so, what makes the red blade look best? I bought one but have very few light colors to test with. Or am I completely off base in what the enhanced blades are all about?

They don't work quite as well as the photon. I have the amber.. the tip lights up like the sun with blue light, but the blade ends up having sort of a yellow glow with a blue/white core. It looks great with warm color illumination like red, orange, amber.
