    Default MPS and MHSv1 Question

    Hello all ,

I am looking at the MPS insert style 13 and I want to know if it will fit in any MHSv1 Pommels. I am planning a stunt saber upgrade of a saber I got from "the other guys" that fits MHSv1 pommels and I plan on adding a NBv4, 2W 28mm bass speaker and an 18650 battery. I am slowly getting the pieces together and I just want to be sure that they will fit together properly.

    Thanks in Advance

    If you look here: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Pommels-C34.aspx

Any of the MPS pommel inserts will fit in any of the "MPS" pommels. You will want one of these: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MPS-Clip-P72.aspx to hold the insert in place.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

Mostly, "the other guys" assertion of MPS / MHS compatibility has to do with connexion diameter and threading... though, as has been pointed out, not all of the other guys do machine work as precise as Tim does, so you may find that a genuine MPS pommel fits very snugly, or very loosely.

At any rate, if you want to use one of the TCSS pommel inserts, you will likely have to buy a TCSS pommel as well.
