Ok, Its been quite a many years since i've wired up an LED lightsaber. Here are my parts and I was wondering if I got the right stuff.

And a couple of swing sensors to make a better swing sensor. With perf Board.


Now I think I have everything to get it working. But I'm not sure. Am I missing anything? Thank you guys!!

If memory serves, that 1995 hasbro board doesn't have swing sensors, so those will be unnecessary, as will the momentary to latching converter, as the board is designed to use a momentary switch. does the board look like this:

If this is the board you have, it will make a swing sound after every other clash, rather than when you swing it around.

Everything else you have listed should work.

Honestly, with that amount of cash going into the other parts, you will be disappointed with the hasbro sound.

I assume the latching converter is for the buckpuck? I have only ever used a relay.

Well, I missed the buckpuck...that will be unnecessary, too, since they require a minimum of 5 volts input...one Li-Ion won't be enough, and two will fry that soundboard.

Ok, so I dont need the swing sensors, or the buckpuck. Then would I have to use a resistor for the LED? I've originally had this sound board in my first saber about 10 years ago and I used a latching but its next to impossible to find a latching 12mm av switch . I also picked up a yoda (unsure of the year) Im guessing 2010 but the clash doesnt work all the time, when I took it apart I noticed the clash sensor was really noisey. Like it sounded like it was too loose inside.
