    Default Introducing: Obi Gladius

Just in time for Celebration, I finished my Obi Wan inspired MHS hilt. There is already a build big thread if want to see the tedious parts.

    Obi Gladius

    MHS Hilt:
    BH 24
    Solid brass Choke #2
    3" extension
    3/4" extension
    MHS Gear
    Control box 7
    Pommel 10
    MPS 12 (w/ D-ring)
    Red circuit card

    NBV3 (with aftermarket fonts)
Tactile switch with custom brass head
    18500

    Blue/Royal Blue/Deep Red (DR FOC)
    Blue 5W CC LED

    Customized blade plug with Photon

    Crystal Chamber was build from:

    Herkimer quartz crystal with inclusions
    Brass fins
    Brass plumbing seats
    Old watch parts
    Modified MHS discs
    Turned down brass nuts

Weathering was done with Aluminum Black and some light Dremel work. My first chamber and first partial reveal. Definitely more challenging!

    With my first MHS build!

Been watching this one come together, very nice work. Great weathering, just like that first one.
    Well done.

Thank you! I think weathering is my strong suit, as wiring still has a ways to go...

Thank you. The simplicity comes more from my limitations in tooling. I think the vintage watch parts added just enough to keep it from being boring.

Like the crystal chamber and use of a real quartz crystal. If I ever build another saber I will make room for that.
