Great job painting it!
If I might make one suggestion/observation, Madcow does a great job with the bone as well, and I think one reason is the slightly darker "veins" he randomly puts in -- just for a bit more texture.

It looks like it could even be done with pencil (for a chalky, irregular, graphite look) and cleared over. Though I am sure that is not how he did it.

In any case, you did a great job. Definitely one of the most unique ones I have ever seen.

Ive actually been experimenting a lot with adding "cracks" and "veins', havent had a whole lot of luck yet though.
