    Nice! I've been trying to figure out how to make a Kanan-style pommel. I like your idea. The entire saber is very cool!

    Thanks, guys!

    @hapki, Looking back, I think I might have been better off with a pommel 1 (instead of the 2) and jbweld some small aluminium strips on. Then I'd hit it with some gray powder coat - when you PC jbweld with dark neutral colors, it looks like weathered corner-crusties. If I did this again in a weathered version, that's exactly what I'd do.
