    Nice.
I would have like to have seen the strips raised aluminum instead of painted on, but is fantastic and overall very well done.

Great work buddy, I dig it. Love reworking MHS parts.

    Thanks, guys!

@Rampant - it's funny that you say that, I just had an idea how to do it. The short version is to make a slotted sleeve of 1.375" OD tube... I'm pretty sure I'm going to do another one so I can use all these ideas that I got from doing this one.

    Awesome!

All your work is amazing and obviously took a lot of time and effort to create.

I love the "Aha!" moments when you finally figure out how to do something in your own head.

    Thanks!

This hilt was a one-day build... the skills took a little longer. The install took two more days, overall 3 days (two sundays and a saturday) I thought about it for a the week before, so once I started, all I had to do was cut, sand, and screw.

The tsuba is just a steel washer from Ace hardware. According to my questionable measurement of my television, it was 2 3/4" in diameter; I found a 2 3/4" OD x 1 1/4" ID and I beveled the bottom edge.
