    Default MPP 2.0 questions

    Hello,

I'm about to pull the trigger on buying the electronics for my MPP. I'm keeping really simple with a nano biscotte V3 and a red LED. I have all the parts needed in my wish list, double checked with an engineer friend if I have picked the right resistor. But now, my major question. I know that the bottom half of the MPP is MHS compatible, but, the top part, where the led goes, it's not. It's made for a 7/8" blade. So what do I use as a heat sink?? I'm really confused now.

    Thank you,

    Eric

Edit: P.S. If I'm not in the right forum area, please let me know. thank you .

The term "MHS compatible" is bit of a stretch. Sure some things may work, but it should not be considered an MHS compatible hilt by any means.

You have two choices. You can use a 7/8" module from the store and mount the module in the blade socket (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/87...ole-P1138.aspx). Trust me there is enough blade socket for 2 sabers. Or, you can use a 1" module (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/He...P1011.aspx)and mount it in the counterbore at the bottom of the blade socket.
