Default New Saber Hilt bilt from scratch

    latest hilt design....new 1.jpgnew 2.jpgnew 3.jpgnew 6.jpgnew 8.jpgnew 9.jpgnew7.jpgpommel end threadded.jpgblade retention knob.jpg

I got stuck for a while because I messed up my Mill trying to cut with a fly cutter. When I fixed it I fabricated the switch cover and drilled the hilt, and fitted and installed the switch. Some pics of the fabrication of the covertech button, blade retention knob, Sorry I guess I tried to post too many pics.... LOL

Some more pics... fitting the cover tech I made to the diameter of my hilt. I roughed out the curve with a dremel then used sandpaper taped to the hilt to refine the shape.IMG_1100.jpgIMG_1101.jpgIMG_1102.jpg
