Katana-style sabers

I really like this style of sword for maximum duelability, so I had to make my lightsabers this way too. Switches are recessed so the hilt is nice and smooth. The tsubas are actually air hockey pucks with some drillin' and dremelin'.

i might be wrong but they are the big guards at the emitter end of the saber

So I was correct, and so was maul.

*How would a hand guard help on a lightsaber? Wouldn't the blade just slice through [e.i. saber lock]? ...

Well susposidly thru out the UE and such and speculations story wize that there were materials that were somewhat resilient to lightsabers.

Like susposidly parts of vaders sute was made out of a material that was resilient to lightsabers. like in bespin when luke hit his shoulder it looked like it just burnt and caused a little bit of harm to vader but it dident lop his arm off.

You mean Sith Alchemy, like the sith blades?

Or do you mean cortorsis?

A dont know, I tmight of been sith Alchemy Iam not sure. I never read any of the books except for the origional 3.


But susposidly the jedi robes had this too IIRC so it might not of been just sith alchemy.

The sith sabers were made out of a special metal IIRC.
