    Default V2 upgrade wiring diagram

    Card image from manual, switch image found online.
    Anyways, upgrading from removable 14500 + dummy cell in a dual AA battery holder, to an 18650 with recharge port and chassis.
    Page 8 has a small picture saying which wires get connected to the various legs on the recharge port.
    Page 9 shows how to wire the card with an 18650. Attached is my attempt at combining the 2 elements.

    You will be better with the .5 ohm resistor the rest seems fine though.

    Double checking stats & my math...
    According to this page: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Lu...Star-P523.aspx
    the royal blue rebel has FV of 3.2, & should be run @ 1000 mA. Single Li-ion batts output 3.7V (average).
    Ohm's law (more specifically, the resistor calculator in Silver Serpent's signature) is telling me I need a 1 ohm, 2 watt resistor.
    Previously I was calculating based on 700mA LED current (which was a mis-reading on my part of the above linked page's info)

    The resistor calculator in my signature doesn't return values less than 1 ohm.

    That being said, either a 0.5 ohm or a 1 ohm resistor will work fine. It's unlikely you'll notice any difference without a light meter.
