Google Dupli Color Chrome. I've never used it, but have read good things.

Also: Paging Darkmatter73. He'll probably have better advice.

You'll want some very fine grit sandpaper to get a good finish. You'll likely need to hit up the automotive stores.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

I've read that you can get a better finish if you use black gloss as a base. You may also find some good info/tips at the RPF.

Greenie is right...start with a gloss black. But first sanding as smooth as you can get....every imperfection will show up if the base coat isn't perfect. Stepping down each sanding with finer an finer paper till you get to 400 or 600 grit...or even to 1000 grit. So yes time to visit your local automotive store.

Forgot to add this.....there is another chrome paint out there ....i haven't tried it yet but will once it gets warmer...to cold to paint.lol
It's called -Spax Stix- Mirror Chrome spray paint.
